http://www.growingupthirty.com is an independent film that was shot in the L.A. area. ("temple of contradictions" was the track chosen to be included in this one)

http://www.iwfilms.com/triplebill/index.html was shot in ireland and written/ directed by award-winning rick larkin. ("where the roads cross" has been chosen to be in this film)

i just learned the third film that had chosen "where the roads cross" to be played during a bar scene clip, has had to pull the song. during the editing, they realized the song could not compete with the LOUD bar music that was already playing......(i could have told them THAT if i had known they were going to attempt to have an acoustic ballad *compete* with loud juke music!!!--it would seem to be a "no brainer", but....hey, what do i know about filming???)

here's a little bit more fun news.

listeners on American Idol Underground rated my song, "where the roads cross," among the top 50 tracks in the Folk genre during this past week.

what seems silly is i had sort of forgotten that i had entered that song and obviously, if i had sort of forgotten, i surely hadn't been mentioning to anyone that IF they wanted to go vote for the song and get behind it, they could.

so, NO PRESSURE--it's just not my style at all--BUT, if any one does want to go vote for my song, i won't beg you not to...(laughing)

BUT, only IF you truly feel that the song is one that measures up next to the others on there--because, i'm all about wanting to "keep it real".....

i was just notified that my song, "temple of contradictions" charted at #1 on artistlaunch.com's FEATURED SONGS CHART.

a week ago, i was happy to receive word that it had charted.

anyway, it's a cool site--stop by there if you get an opportunity--they've been really supportive of my music.

i just learned that i will be the "Featured Artist Of The Day" at Whole Wheat Radio on thursday, march 17th, 2005.
